Is there more kinetic energy than gravitational pontential energy in the world?
First of all I think there is more kinetic energy because so many things move in this world. For example, clouds moving from a breeze, cars driving down the road, people walking and drinking their Starbuck's (hahaha), animals defending them selves from being attacked, water making waves or falling from the sky, and many many different things move. On the other hand gravitational potential energy has a great role in this world. Examples for GPE are, fruits ready to fall from a tree, a roller caoster about to go down hill, a person ready to go skydive, water droplets stored in a cloud ready to precipitate, people ready to start a marathon,a kid nervous and ready to start his CSAP test. Gravitational potential energy is energy that is agout to move or fall. Kinetic energy is energy already in motion. All in all, I think there is more kinetic energy in the world because there is an infinity of things already moving.
